Warner Bros. has released the final trailer for Dune: Part Three, the last look before the conclusion of Denis Villeneuve’s trilogy. The footage makes one thing clear: this time the war isn’t just being fought on the sands of Arrakis, but inside the empire itself.
The film adapts Dune Messiah, Frank Herbert’s second novel, and picks up the story several years after the events of Dune: Part Two. Paul Atreides is now emperor, and his holy war has ravaged countless worlds. That absolute power has changed him, and a conspiracy to overthrow him is beginning to take shape. Meanwhile, Chani, who had already drifted away from Paul at the end of the previous film, now seems ready to stand against him, setting up a clash between the two that promises to be one of the most intense moments of the saga.
Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya once again lead the cast, alongside Florence Pugh, Javier Bardem and Jason Momoa, with two new additions: Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia, Paul’s sister, and Robert Pattinson as the mysterious Scytale.
Without further ado, here’s the final trailer for one of the most anticipated movies of the year.
