One Piece volume 115 is out in Japan, and it comes with a detail that makes it special: it’s the volume with the most chapters in the entire history of Eiichiro Oda’s manga. It collects 13 chapters of the Elbaf arc, including one of the most important moments the series has had in years.
Below, I go over what the cover shows, when it came out, how much it costs and which chapters it includes.

One Piece Volume 115 Release Date and Price
Shueisha released the volume in Japan on Friday, July 3, 2026, in both print and digital. Here are the key details:
- Chapters: 1167 to 1179 (13 in total)
- Pages: 248
- Price: 594 yen, tax included
The price went up 20 yen from the previous volume, which makes sense given the page count. A One Piece volume usually collects 10 or 11 chapters, so this one is noticeably longer than usual.
Why Does It Have So Many Chapters?
Oda explained it himself in his author comment: he wanted to fit in as much as possible up to the arrival of “that character.” And it’s not hard to tell who he means, since the volume ends right as Imu arrives on Elbaf.
In my opinion, it was the right call. Cutting the volume earlier would have pushed that moment into the next one, and it works much better as an ending.
The Cover: Luffy and Loki
The cover shows a giant Gear 5 Luffy holding a lightning bolt for his Gum-Gum Thor Rifle. Behind him is Loki, the prince of Elbaf, holding Ragnir, the squirrel that’s actually a Devil Fruit with ice powers. The background is split into yellow, red and purple stripes, in line with the series’ recent covers.
It’s a meaningful image, because at the start of the arc Loki looked more like an enemy than an ally. Seeing him on the cover next to Luffy sums up how much the story has changed on Elbaf.
Chapters Included in One Piece Volume 115
Warning: this section contains Elbaf arc spoilers.
The volume opens with Chapter 1167, “Ida’s Sons,” and ends with Chapter 1179, “Nerona Imu Descends.” Along the way, the Straw Hats and the giants take on the Holy Knights, whose metal hearts let them regenerate. Luffy and Loki fight Imu’s shadow form, and three of the Knights end up defeated.
The key moment, however, comes at the end. Imu, convinced his old enemies are returning, decides to descend to Elbaf himself. His arrival comes with the reveal of his full name, Saint Nerona Imu, confirming he created the World Government. Zoro also recognizes that Imu uses Conqueror’s Haki.
For years, Imu was a figure who only appeared in the shadows of Mary Geoise. Bringing him onto the battlefield before the final arc changes the picture completely, and makes it clear the final saga is well underway.
When Will It Come Out in English?
English editions usually come out several months after the Japanese release, so it’ll be a while before this volume hits shelves outside Japan. In the meantime, you can read all of these chapters for free and legally on MANGA Plus, Shueisha’s official platform.
